After graduating (B.Comm. Stell) and practising as an accountant for ten years, I came to realise that I was destined for higher spiritual service and followed this instinct into a fulfilling life as an intuitive therapist.

About me

During my years as an accountant, I started my quest for knowledge of the healing of the human body and spirit. This led me to becoming a qualified yoga teacher with the Sir Paul Duke School of Yoga with membership to the Yoga Teachers Fellowship of Southern Africa. I also studied Shiatsu – a Japanese pressure point technique. I learnt Transcendental Meditation, and followed on with the advanced training a few years later. It was during these years in Johannesburg that I was introduced to various forms of healing.

I qualified as a Reiki Master in 1999 and have been teaching and initiating students into Reiki since then. I also studied Esoteric Healing which complemented my knowledge of energy anatomy and healing.

In 1999, I met Dr Isa Lindwall DC who taught me the Lindwall Releasing process. During his future visits to South Africa I facilitated on his workshops and seven-day retreats. On 28 October 2001, he asked me to be a Lindwall releasing teacher. I was one of the organisers of his last tour in 2006 to South Africa.

I thought my training was complete, but my passion for the healing arts took me further. I decided to acquire the art of muscle testing from Dr Lindwall who was taught by Dr Goodheart, the father of muscle testing. In 2007, I registered as a Specialised Kinesiologist. In 2010, I also became an internationally qualified Neural Organization Technique practitioner.

Receiving a gift of a 1950s Delawarr Diagnostic instrument Radionics machine enticed me into studying Radionics. Partially qualified in radionics, I use it as a basis for my distant healing treatment for birds and wild life.

When teaching Reiki and Lindwall Releasing, it is important to present the training in a practical and insightful way. For me it is not good enough to just survive life; it is important to understand life, your own action or reaction to it and to acquire the necessary skills and tools to create a more joyous and peaceful life. I strive for that in my training.

People have been a lifelong interest of mine. My work as an accountant gave me the balance and the insight into how people manage their energy and how it impacts their health and life. My intuitive skills developed over many years, particularly learning Reiki and my time with Dr Lindwall. In my sessions, I intuitively assess what is needed for the client and which of my modalities to use for healing. An intuitive chakra analysis can give me an overview of the energy body of the client. From this intuitive assesment I gather information on where the client is struggling in life, past life interference, limiting beliefs, etc.

My personal journey has greatly benefited from my therapy. Striving for neutrality is of great importance to me, as it is from a neutral space one can make the best choices for living. Joy is the ultimate state of being I strive for.

  • FAQs

Q: What can I expect from a session with a Holistic Healer?
A: Every session is tailored to your unique needs, whether you are visiting my Somerset West practice or connecting online. I use a combination of Reiki, Specialised Kinesiology, and Lindwall Releasing to identify where stress or emotional blocks are held in the body and nervous system. The goal is to provide a grounded and safe space for deep relaxation and practical emotional shifts.
Q: How does a corporate background in accounting influence a holistic healing practice?
A: Having spent 10 years in the corporate world with a BCom Degree from Stellenbosch University, I understand the practical reality of high-pressure environments, deadlines, and professional responsibility. This background allows me to offer a healing practice that is deeply intuitive but remains grounded, structured, and focused on clear, responsible outcomes.
Q: Are your healing services professionally accredited in South Africa?
A: Yes. My Specialised Kinesiology work is supported by extensive training and professional ethical standards. I am a member of ASKSA (Association of Specialised Kinesiologists South Africa), which provides the regulatory framework and standards for the field in South Africa.
Q: Are Zelda's services regulated in South Africa?
A: Yes. My Specialised Kinesiology work is supported by ASKSA, which sets the professional standards and ethics for the field in South Africa.
Q: How does online distance healing work when compared to an in-person session?
A: Distance healing is just as focused as an in-person visit. Using guided conversation, focused intention, and distance Reiki, we can address emotional burdens and energetic blocks regardless of your physical location. This is ideal for international clients or those elsewhere in South Africa who cannot travel to the Western Cape.
Q: Which service is right for me if I'm a professional with a logical mindset?
A: Many clients with a corporate or analytical background find Specialised Kinesiology to be a perfect bridge. As a former accountant with 10 years of experience in the corporate world (holding a BCom Degree from Stellenbosch), I ensure that the work remains structured, practical, and grounded.
Q: What exactly does "Neutralizing" a past life memory mean?
A: It means clearing the negative emotional charge of that memory so it no longer triggers habits, fears, or relationship patterns in your current life.
Q: How do the frequency tools (Rife and Comra) fit into a session?
A: Rife Resonator and Coherent Multi-Radiance Therapy (Comra) are used as additional supports when the body shows it needs gentle assistance with physical recovery or energetic stagnation.
Q: Can a single session help with burnout?
A: A single session is a powerful starting point for relaxation. However, for deep burnout, a Private Wellness Retreat or a series of consultations is often recommended to allow for full nervous system integration.
